Marine explorer, salvager and educator Barry Clifford will be presenting
a slide talk for the Truro Historical Society/Highland Museum on his
recent WHYDAH discoveries. This event, scheduled for Friday evening,
September 28, is open to the public and will take place at the Truro
Central School to accommodate the expected crowd of interested adults
and children.
Local schools, including the Cape Cod Lighthouse
Charter School, Provincetown High School and VMES, and Truro Central
School, have been invited to attend, free of charge, an introductory
program at the Highland Museum the week before Mr. Clifford's
presentation, with times to be arranged with the museum curator.
Tickets ($10 for adults and $5 for children) may be purchased in advance
at the Highland Museum, Truro (508) 487-3397, or, if still available, at
the Truro Central School the night of the presentation. All proceeds
will benefit the Truro Historical Society/Highland Museum educational
outreach programs.
